ABOUT SPORTZKY

Sportzky is the product of my lifelong obsession with American sports branding and many hours of watching sporting greats like Gretzky, Jordan, and Lemieux. Sportzky is designed to be used as a functional athletic face, perfect for jersey nameplates, team lettering, scores, stats and times.

The design is rigid and condensed in it's construction, with selectively rounded elements that give a fluid rhythm and less agressive feel. It's like a stylised gothic, or perhaps an industrialised neo-grotesque – either way it feels right at home on the field, or on your back.
